Our International Instructors

Susan Selzer, Susan is an admitted Attorney and is the South African instructor for Law and Human Rights. Her academic qualifications include a B Proc law degree and a Masters’s degree (LLM) in Labour Law. She obtained Certificates in Advanced Labour Law and Labour Dispute Resolution with distinctions. Susan is currently a presiding commissioner at the Commission for Conciliation, Mediation and Arbitration (CCMA), where South African polygraph examiners are mostly called upon to testify.

Dr. Piet Bester, Piet is a registered Industrial Psychologist and a senior lecturer at Stellenbosch University’s Faculty of Military Science. His academic qualifications include a degree and Honours degree in Military Science (Industrial Psychology), a postgraduate diploma in the management of security, a Master’s degree in Human Resource Management and a Doctorate in Leadership in Performance and Change. Piet started his career in military intelligence and is also a registered polygraph examiner. His research interests include leadership, counterproductive work behaviour, performance enhancement, test construction and national security.

Dr. Hannelie Kemp, Hannelie is a clinical dietitian registered with the Health Professions Council of South Africa. Her academic qualifications include a Bachelor, Masters and PhD in Dietetics. She has more than 20 years theoretical and practical experience of teaching dietetic and medical students at the University of Pretoria and tertiary academic hospitals. Apart from her interest in human nutrition, she has a special interest in human physiology, since nutrition and physiology are so closely intertwined. Human physiology was one of her main subjects for her Bachelor’s degree and formed an integral part of her postgraduate studies. She is currently working as a dietitian in private practice and as a medical copywriter for the South African branch of an international nutrition company.
